Employment Process
Applications for full-time positions and part-time positions are only accepted when a vacancy exists and the position is posted on the City website. Applications are submitted online only. To complete an application, click on the position you are interested in (out of the listing of open positions), and then click ‘apply online.’ The application will take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete. Please give yourself enough time to complete the entire application.
You will receive notification within three business days regarding your application. If you have not received notification that your application was received, it is in your best interest to contact the Human Resources Department on or before the application deadline to ensure your application was received.
NOTE: When you are completing any application and state an email address on your application, any correspondence regarding your application or subsequent testing will be sent to your listed email.
It is in your best interest to check your email frequently. Also, if the application is not entirely completed, it will not be submitted to the Human Resources Department for review.
